Black Friday: Save or Pain?

Picture this; you've waited all night, your amidst a Thanksgiving Hangover. You are about to enter into a Hunger Games-Esc Scenario involving a fight to the death for savings on merchandise. However, before you put yourself through that pain, take a step back and look at yourself, is it worth loosing all your civility for this?

I offer you another solution; online shopping. A far less painful way to Black Friday shop. If you still desire to, or did go, Black Friday shopping, I hope you are pleased with when you shoved the old lady to the ground to get the last Xbox 360. To the few that kept their dignity while shopping, thank you.

Thanksgiving or UngratefulTaking?

Thanksgiving. A skewed holiday that has turned from a day to be grateful to a day to be hateful. It is pitiful that we Americans are so ungrateful that we have to have a holiday for it. Not to mention that as soon as the day passes we loose all instinct of thankfulness in what we call; Black Friday. A day of spite, fighting and worldly gains.
Is this what the world has come to, is this the new definition of gratitude? It has become an excuse to get people that you like, or despise, together to engorge themselves, supporting obesity. Let's face it, America does not need more of that. Don't get me wrong, I love food as much as the next guy, except all food Thanksgiving, but we should be giving food, not stuffing our mouths with, well stuffing.

The ideas of thanksgiving I firmly believe in, however the holiday has devolved to become a reason to stuff your face and not feel bad. Thanksgiving has turned into; ungrateful taking.
